This candle not only smells divine but it looks so delicious. It's easy to make following the simple steps below
Colours:
Base – 1 drop primary blue
Blueberries – 2 drops primary blue (blueberry mould)
Crumb – Sunflower dye block shavings, 1 drop yellow liquid dye, 1 drop brown liquid dye
To make the crumb melt equal parts of 464 & tart wax. Add in above colours for a crumble like colour. Once wax is melted to desired temperature add in fragrance.
Pour into a baking tray and leave to set. Keep an eye on it as it sets. You want the wax to be firm. Once it sets (approx. 15 mins) use a scraper to “chop/ cut” to break down the wax into crumbs. Keep chopping until desired crumb is achieved.
Drizzle – 1 drop primary blue
Pour base into vessel, wait for it to set. As its setting, start making the crumb.
Once the base has set and you’ve made your crumble. Start placing the crumble as the next layer and add a few blueberries in between.
Whipped wax:
Melt 464 until desired temperature is reached and add fragrance. Pour into a stainless steel bowl and wait for the wax to cool down. It will start to harden slightly, then it can be whipped with a hand mixer. This step will take some time and will need to be monitored, keep mixing until you achieve a mashed potato consistency. This wax can then be put into a piping bag with your chosen nozzle. Pipe on top of the crumb layer, and place remaining blueberries on top.
To finish, add blueberry drizzle on top. We used a dropper to achieve this effect.
