Palm wax is a type of vegetable wax derived from the oil palm tree (Elaeis guineensis). It is obtained from the palm fruit, which produces both palm oil and palm kernel oil. The wax is extracted from the palm oil through a process of crystallization and separation.
Palm wax is commonly used in the production of candles due to its desirable properties. It has a high melting point, which allows candles made from palm wax to have a longer burning time compared to those made from other types of wax. The wax also has a unique crystal structure that gives the candles a beautiful, natural appearance.
One of the main advantages of palm wax is its renewable and sustainable nature. The oil palm tree is highly productive and can yield a significant amount of oil, making it an efficient source of wax. However, it is important to note that the production of palm oil and palm wax has been associated with deforestation, habitat loss, and environmental concerns in certain regions where palm plantations are established. Sustainable and responsible sourcing practices are crucial to minimize the negative impacts of palm wax production.
Crystallizing palm wax will produce a beautiful crystal pattern on the outside of the candle. This wax is a pillar wax and is designed to be used in aluminium moulds for the best effect. Pour: 95 Degrees C

Emulsifying wax is used for combining oil and water in recipes for lotions, creams, and other cosmetics.
This vegetable derived emulsifying wax is a combination of Ceteareth 20 and Cetearyl Alcohol. Ceteareth-20 is a glycol ether derived from a blend of natural cetyl and stearyl alcohols from coconut oil, and Cetearyl Alcohol, produced from the reduction of plant oils and natural waxes.
Emulsifying was is a very mild, non-ionic, self emulsifying wax with great stability.
This wax can be used in creams, lotions, lotion bars, body polishes and scrubs and body butters.
