Peppermint Arvensis Essential Oil

Arvensis Peppermint Oil is steam distilled extracted and yields a powerful and appealing mint aroma. It is widely used throughout the food, flavouring, and cosmetic industries as well as in aromatherapy for its believed therapeutic properties. It s clearing, antiseptic and anti-infectious action is particularly suited to the relief of headaches, migraine, hay fever, sinus and catarrhal congestion, as well as general coughs and colds.
Pure essential oils such as Peppermint Oil are highly concentrated and should be handled with care. Keep this essential oil well away from the eyes, nose and other sensitive areas because it is a mucous membrane irritant.
Peppermint essential oil blends with basil, cedarwood, cypress, eucalyptus, geranium, juniper berry, lavender, sweet marjoram, pine, rosemary and all citrus oils.
This essential oil is considered a top note in aromatherapy.

CAUTION: As with all essential oils, dilute into carrier oils before applying them directly onto the skin. Keep oils away from eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. This is such a refreshing scent, it makes the house feel somehow cooler when it’s hot outside, it gives the room a nice fresh peppermint scent, just lovely.
