Soy based vegetable monoglyceride.
Universal Additive (UA) is a versatile additive that is primarily used in candle making to help fragrance oil bind better to the wax. It also aids in the long-term retention of the scent, helps reduce mottling, and helps to reduce bubbles in the candle as it cools. As a bonus, it also adds a nice glossiness to candles. Usage 0.1 - 1% in container candles. Add at the beginning of the melt process.
NOTE: By adding 10% of our specially formulated UA you can turn GW 416 into a wonderful tart and votive wax that pops straight out of the mould. Note: pour the GW 416 @ 82 degrees when adding 10% UA
Wick experimentation necessary. Use sparingly as it changes the burn of the candle dramatically.
I was sceptical, however turns out I'm very pleasantly satisfied with this as I often have a problem with jar adhesion and bubbles. This additive has corrected that problem. My only difficulty in using this fine product is obtaining the correct weight but I've purchased a new smaller weighing scale which hopefully will help. Totally recommend this product

I had issues with some coco/ soy wax setting and this stuff smoothed it all out.

Okay not all of the frosting disappeared entirely but by adding the suggested amount to the soy wax at the required temp made a huge difference to the end result. The candles I make aren't contained in a jar so any frosting is visible therefore minimising it was essential. Very pleased with this product.
Love it. Keeps the temperature warmer for longer producing the perfect surface for candles. No problems with air bubbles and saves time de-gassing the wax once combined with fragrance
