Roller Bottle Perfumes

Posted on March 26, 2024

Roller bottle perfumes are super easy and quick to make.  In this tutorial we will be using lavender essential oil and lavender flowers, but you can substitute these with whatever herbs and dried flowers and essential oils you like.

Materials Needed:

  1. Clean roller bottle
  2. Carrier oil (such as sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, or fractionated coconut oil)
  3. Dried lavender flowers
  4. Lavender Essential oil (Bulgarian)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Your Roller Bottle:
    • Ensure your roller bottle is clean and dry. If it's not, wash it thoroughly and let it dry completely before using.
  2. Add Lavender Flowers (Optional):
    • If you're using dried lavender flowers, carefully drop them into the roller bottle.
  3. Add Lavender Essential Oil:
    • Add lavender essential oil directly into the roller bottle. Start with 4 drops and adjust based on your preference for scent strength.
  4. Add Carrier Oil:
    • Carefully add your choice of carrier oil to top up the rest of the bottle.
  5. Secure the Roller Ball and Cap:
    • Once you've added all the ingredients, securely place the roller ball onto the bottle. Press it in firmly to ensure it's properly sealed. Then, screw on the cap tightly.
  6. Shake and Test:
    • Gently shake the roller bottle to mix the ingredients. Test the scent by rolling a small amount onto your wrist or pulse points. Adjust the scent by adding more essential oils if necessary.
  7. Store Properly:
    • Store your perfume roller bottle in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight or heat. This will help preserve the scent and quality of the oils.

Your homemade perfume roller bottle is now ready to use! Simply roll it onto your pulse points for a natural and refreshing scent anytime, anywhere. Enjoy!
